F R O N T  O F  H O U S E  S E R V I C E  T E A M 

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an energetic and dedicated banquet server/food runner to join our growing staff. In this role you will work alongside our current team members to cater events. Candidates should possess an efficient work ethic, a friendly and professional demeanor, and be comfortable being on their feet for several hours at a time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with table and banquet area prep before the event

  • Assist with food/buffet preparation before and during the event

  • Ensure safe food handling guidelines are followed by self and team members

  • Deliver food from the kitchen and/or prep area to the banquet area in a timely manner

  • Serve appetizers and plated dinners to guests

  • Open wine, take drink orders

  • Serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

  • Refill water glasses

  • Take customer questions and/or requests, assist in a timely and satisfactory manner

  • Assist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down

  • Work as a member of a team, communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient work ethic and overall guest satisfaction

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous banquet server/restaurant waiter experience a plus

  • Knowledge of catering practices preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Overall excellent customer service

  • Punctual

  • Energetic, motivated personality

  • Must have stamina, must be able to stand/walk for several hours at a time

  • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

  • Must have reliable transportation

C O R E  K I T C H E N  T E A M

Heirloom Fire is growing fast and we are looking for like minded cooks who want to grow with us. Learn the art of open fire cooking and preserving the harvest. Imagine a world in the cooking industry where instead of grinding dishes out on the line with endless tickets you spend your day in the woods foraging for wild food and learning something new. You will prepare food, organize pack ups and do basic kitchen work, sure. Your weekends will be spent in different, beautiful locations preparing a complete meal from start to finish over open fire. This is hard work, the payoff is a sense of incredible accomplishment, personal growth and inspiration. Now accepting applications. -Wednesday - Sunday. -Full time through late October. Spend the week preparing for offsite catering events, foraging wild food and preserving. Offsite catering onweekends. -Must be able to lift upwards for 100 lbs and be comfortable with long days. -Some cooking experience required but the ability to take direction and pride in your work is essential. 

40 + hours a week 

$18 - $22.50 / hour
