A sharp knife is only half the equation. Knowing how to use it properly changes everything.

This hands-on workshop focuses on the core knife techniques that professional kitchens rely on every day. We’ll cover proper grip, body positioning, and the cutting methods that make prep faster, safer, and far more consistent.

Working with seasonal vegetables and herbs, guests will practice essential cuts such as slicing, dicing, julienne, and chiffonade while learning how to move efficiently at the cutting board. We’ll also talk through knife care, honing, and how to maintain your tools so they perform the way they should.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with sharper technique, more confidence, and a much clearer understanding of how chefs approach prep work in the kitchen.

The ingredients we prepare together will be used to finish a simple seasonal dish that we’ll share at the end of the workshop.
