There’s just something about oysters when it’s hot out.

When the mercury climbs, we crave that crisp hit of sea and mineral, the way a raw oyster practically cools your bloodstream. And if we’re by the fire? You better believe we’re throwing them right on the coals. Garlic butter, a splash of wine, maybe a kiss of smoke.

Whether we’re shucking by the water or roasting them over flame, oysters are our go-to summer obsession. Clean. Bright. Barely touched. Can’t get enough.

Beautiful summer days like this always bring me back to one of the most meaningful weddings we’ve ever been a part of.
Molly & Ed’s weekend on Martha’s Vineyard wasn’t just memorable — it was magic. The kind of celebration that lifted everyone involved.
They recently celebrated their seven-year anniversary, and seeing that milestone reminded me just how lucky we were to play a small role in their story.
Over the years, we’ve had the chance to cook for them again, and every time reminds me how rare it is to meet people this gracious, grounded, and full of heart.
Ed once told me he always remembers my hugs. I only wish I had a photo of one.
They started as clients, but I’m proud to call them friends.
